“ I had a great time at Green Eye Lounge before a wedding at the Joinery, a short walk away from here. The bartenders that attended us were extremely friendly and were great to talk to. One bartender recommended her favorite tequila and we enjoyed it enough to take a couple more shots! All in all, a great place to visit with a friendly vibe and I would definitely go again! ”
“ This has been my favorite bar in Bucktown since 2010. It’s exactly what you want for a good hang. A long bar with plenty of seating. Excellent craft beer on tap. Cheap PBRs. Nice little tables to sit at with a group of friends. Overall always positive vibes, good music, great people. It’s the kind of bar you can go alone and chat with neighborhood bar flys or hang out with a group with privacy at their high tops. I love this place and last went here after a show at the revived Congress theater...wish I lived closer. Used to be my regular go to. Best hidden gem bar in the area! Highly recommend. ”
“ This is a lovely neighborhood bar with a hopping front room and a quieter back room. The staff is lovely, there's a good selection of beer and a decent liquor list. No food, but you can bring or order in. They are also very flexible and accommodating about hosting events. The staff held 3 tables for me on a Friday night, at no charge, and allowed me to bring in snacks and cake. They checked up on us periodically to be sure we had everything we needed. I had a lot of trouble finding a venue, and Green Eye made the experience easy from start to finish. I recommend them for drop-in drinks and for casual event hosting, as well. ”
